What used to be called the old “horn-rimmed” style of eyeglass frame has made a resurgence due to the retro movement and the “hipster” style sensibility. The Davenport frame brings this unisex classic into this decade with the addition of contemporary style accents and colors. 

The round shape softens the facial features and the slightly extended browline gives it that classic look. Constructed primarily of a composite plastic, the Davenport is thick enough to be retro, yet thin enough to allow the molded nasal bridge to float upon the nose. The temples are reinforced with metal for added durability, and have a wink of sass in the form of an open triangle accent at the temple tip.

Naturally, the color choices include a Demi Amber, which gives a nod to the classic tortoise shades of the horn-rimmed style — always a great choice. Another hue that is quintessential to this frame shape is the Matte Black Fade, which features black fading to a crystal grey.
