The Alpine eyeglass frame, while not actually transporting the wearer to the snowcapped heights, combines the look of the classic winter sports participant and today’s outdoors enthusiast.

At first glance, the Alpine’s design is reminiscent of the aviator frame. The lens area easily accommodates a multifocal prescription and the requisite aviator brow bar is molded directly from the frame’s high-tech plastic composite material. This means staying power, strength and the lightest weight possible. The gentle nose rests are also sculpted seamlessly from the same material. The temples are cleverly reinforced with metal for backup strength in the event of a minor ski mishap.

The colors that are available tell two different stories. The brown shade has subtle ribbons of darker brown streaming through the plastic, giving it a rich tonal effect.
